November 2023: This month’s talk, and the last speaker meeting of 2022, offered an ‘Introduction to Wimpole Hall’. Local Wimpole volunteer Richard Priestley covered the history of the building and its owners. He also ‘took us around the house’ and included areas that are not normally on show to the public.
That was on Wednesday 15 November. The venue for the talk was the Eternit Sports and Social Club. This was our last meeting at Eternit - we found you a new speaker meeting venue in Melbourn for 2024.
