Our use of 'zoom' was a great asset in allowing participation in covid times. We've suspended our paid account pending hearing that there is a group that needs it. Note that Google Meet is available through our Google Workspace plan - please ask a committee member to set this up for your group.
By the way - if you use video in your social meetings there are other services as well as 'zoom'. Some of these services are better or free or simpler or allow much longer one-to-one meetings or allow much larger meetings. The 'big name' services to compare include
- Google Meet;
- Microsoft Teams;
- Whatsapp;
- Zoom;
- Facebook Messenger;
- Facetime.
